Tasting Notes: Grace and elegance define this “grand cru” from one of the Saar's most prized vineyards. Fresh and delicate citrus aromas open to reveal a palate of sultry spice and steely minerality locked in a fierce struggle for precious stage time. In a surprising plot twist, the vintage's slightly softer acidity plays a supporting yet nonetheless vital role in the overall production. While the full scope of this GG's charms will come with time, the peek behind the velvet curtain right now assures me that this is only the beginning of a long and beautiful relationship.
Serving Suggestions: Famed veterinarian James Herriot loved “All things bright and beautiful, All creatures great and small...” This wine especially loves those that swim or crawl. We recommend sushi (watch the wasabi!), sashimi or seared scallops.

Residual Sugar: 57.5 g/l
Total Acidity: 8.1 g/l
Tasting Notes: Occasionally we are presented with a wine of such splendid kabinett beauty that objective and impartial are hard to maintain. This is one such wines. Smoky apricots, floral purity in the form of lilacs and rainwater, racy acidity and a crisp stony enduring minerality. Fanciful, fantastical; nuanced flavors on the palate linger into a final candied-lemon kiss on the finish. And downright delicious too. Leave this one to mature in the cellar, as all these markers are just the beginning. Good things come to those who wait.
Serving Suggestions: In such a baby, it’s hard to say where the journey will take you but for now this elegant kabinett is an ideal companion with scallops, shrimp and assorted soft cheeses.

Total Acidity:  6.8 g/l
Tasting Notes: Just writing to tell you that we opened the wine last Sunday to have with a Roast Rack of Pork with Mushroom Cream Sauce, home made Spaetzle and fresh Asparagus. The wine was excellent. Nice creamy texture and with a sweet fresh fruit tang. Only the slightest acidity. And nice bright colour. Rhine wines are nice but Mosel wines have always been my personal favourite. I had not expected the 'young' flavour of something bottled in 2003. It was a great pleasure to have experienced the quality of your efforts.

Alcohol: 7.5% vol
Residual Sugar: 82.6 g/l
Total Acidity: 8.7 g/l
Tasting Notes: Rauchig-üppige Noten nach Pfirsich, Ananas und Passionsfrucht verführen und verzaubern – die S?ure wirbelt und dreht sich und tanzt am Gaumen wie ein Flamencot?nzer. Im Moment noch ein Baby, doch diese Auslese hat alles, was ein klassischer Saar-Langstreckenl?ufer braucht.

Serving Suggestions: Erstmal weglegen, fünf bis 15 Jahre. Das f?llt jetzt zwar schwer, macht sich aber sp?ter um so mehr bezahlt. Wenn dann endlich der Korken aus der Flasche kommt, ist das Essen auf dem Teller beinahe Nebensache – aber eine ger?ucherte Entenbrust schadet sicher nicht.
